link：http://www.mightyoaks.edu.hk/ 【 小小船長出「海」記 】 夏日炎炎，當然要玩水消暑啦!老師特別設計咗「航海小遊戲」，俾同學仔一邊玩水一邊做實驗，實行玩樂中學習! 要成功「出海」，當然唔少得一隻帆船啦!老師利用水筆和貼紙教小朋友設計風帆，再把船杆貼上插入海棉做成帆船，並放到水上讓幼兒了解浮和沉的科學原理。除此之外，小朋友更加興奮地化身成為「航海員」，利用不同的方法讓船在水上行走。 透過輕鬆簡單的小遊戲，就算天氣再悶熱都唔怕啦! Pool Noodle Boats! In this summer heat, our students and teachers cannot stop thinking about water so these pool noodle boats were the perfect activity, combining craft & science to cool us down! Students explored the components of a boat, then we conducted a scientific experiment where we tested what floats and sinks in the classroom, before showing a video of all types of sea transportation. With our students' creative juices flowing, we designed and built our own sailing boats with popsicle sticks and pool noodles and then decorated them with foam stickers. Here comes the fun part! We decided to do it in the water basin so our students could discover ways to move their boats (e.g. blowing them, moving them with their hands and feet).
